Citrix for Mac Installation after 2021
Citrix Workspace app for Mac overview High performance web and self-services access to virtual apps and desktops. Configure for anywhere access from your desktop or web access with Safari, Chrome or Firefox.
Minimum requirement is Catalina OS 10.15
Citrix installation link:
Click the download button:
Click allow:
Go to the finder and the go to the Downloads folder and double click on the CitrixWorkspaceApp.dmg file:
In the folder that opens, if you have Citrix already installed then you need to remove it first by clicking on the uninstall icon, if it is not installed then click Install Citrix Workspace.

Click on Citrix icon under Employees or Students Tab:
Click on detect receiver
Click Allow to open the Citrix Workplace Launcher
Click on Open
You are now in Citrix click on the desktop tab:

Symptoms or Error
Denying automation permission after launching subscribed desktop might cause Citrix Workspace App 1910 for Mac to become unresponsive using the macOS Catalina operating system. Affected users will see the spinner to launch a desktop but it will never complete and launch the session.- Note: This issue will only affect desktop launches if they have subscribed to the desktop (Favorite).
Solution
There are two workarounds, see below:- Go to System Preferences > Security and Privacy > Privacy > Automation and allow permissions for Citrix Viewer.app, Citrix Workspace.app and all subscribed apps.
- Remove subscribed desktop (Favorited) and then proceed to launch.
